The Pleasure Garden Cafe & Photo

This is a restaurant I will definitely visit again the next time I travel to Japan. The warm-hearted owner, comfortable atmosphere, and delicious dishes left a deep impression. The large floor-to-ceiling windows offer a stunning view of both Mt. Fuji and the passing trains in a single frame.

This coffee shop is in a beautiful building. The gentleman behind the counter was so friendly, asked us where we were from, and we put a dot on the globe. Our drinks were fantastic and the perfect refreshment after hiking up the stairs at Arakura Fuji shrine.

Came here midday on a Saturday. We were the only customers. Service was very warm and welcoming. Perfect balance between friendliness and intrigue, whilst also giving us space to enjoy the cafe. Interior is extremely well kept, clean and overall a lovely space to be in. The food and beverages were great. I had the egg spaghetti and fizzy lemonade. A group of three, each with the aforementioned meal and drink totalled to just over 7000 yen which is certainly on the more expensive side. Then again, it was essentially a cafe entirely to ourselves. According to the owner, it gets busier around the cherry blossom season, but other than that it's quiet so if you're around I highly recommend it.

Very nice Cafe very close to the Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. We enjoyed nice coffee and desserts. The view is also great: Mt. Fuji and a little rice field. We had one Affogato with Expresso and one with Matcha and the one with matcha was extremely delicious, very good combination of flavors. The owner was very friendly and he also speaks English.

The owner is kind, warm, and polite. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The matcha green tea and desserts taste great. I’ll definitely come back next time.

We came here three days in a row! It is a calm, beautiful, and relaxing cafe- perfect after walking around the area. The owner was extremely kind and allowed our kids to walk around the lot in front. He made traveling with toddlers a lot easier by interacting with them and giving us a kid friendly space. Everything we ordered was delicious as well!

Absolute fantastic place. The owner Yatuka is such a nice and sweet guy. I‘ve ordered the egg sandwich and a limonade…..twice…..because it was absolutely yummy. The tomatos on my sandwich Yutaka picked right from his little garden just in the morning. I can highly recommend his place

Lovely time spent in this beautiful cafe. The owner is so sweet and opened just 5months ago! The view is lovely but probably better during the winter time (when there are less leaves on the trees ). Very good Affogato el matcha (1000¥)! The special drink with Ume (1000¥) was really *oishi* and the iced cappuccino was *sugoi* (800¥)
